As an associate attorney at MAAA, Kristen is primarily engaged in Appellate cases.
While attending law school, Kristen demonstrated her leadership and commitment to the legal community. She served as the Executive Managing Editor of the Arizona State Sports & Entertainment Law Journal, a Teaching Assistant for Intellectual Property and Copyright classes, and President of the Intellectual Property Student Association. Additionally, she mentored peers through the Women Law Students’ Association and earned multiple accolades, including being a Law, Science & Innovation Center Scholar, a Pedrick Scholar, and receiving the Best Oral Advocate award for Legal Advocacy. Her academic excellence is further highlighted by her multiple CALI Awards in areas such as intellectual property and business entity formations.
Kristen began her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Daniel J. Kiley at the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One. Her prior experience includes clerking at prominent firms, where she focused on data privacy compliance, corporate governance, and intellectual property matters.
Kristen’s published work, "Smart Contracts: The Future of Blockchain in the Entertainment Industry," reflects her deep interest in the intersection of technology and law, particularly in how emerging technologies impact the entertainment sector.
Kristen holds a B.M. in Music Performance with minors in History and Philosophy. Her interdisciplinary background fuels her unique perspective on intellectual property law, particularly in the arts and entertainment industries.
