Steven’s legal career has spanned more than thirty years. He has represented hundreds of businesses and individuals in civil and criminal cases, in state and federal court. He has litigated complex legal issues involving property damage and insurance subrogation, waivers and releases, personal injuries and wrongful death, individual freedoms and constitutional rights, professional and fiduciary duties and standards of care, contractual breaches and commercial disputes, equity interests and derivative claims. Steven has extensive trial and appellate experience. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants at the trial level, including many jury and non-jury trials to verdict. He has also served as appellate counsel in numerous cases in the First and Second Department and in the New York State Court of Appeals.

Steven is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He is a frequent continuing legal education lecturer on trial techniques and evidence. He is also a member and former president of the Hellenic Lawyers Association of New York.
