As an associate attorney at MAAA, Sherry-Ann primarily engaged in cases involving premises liability, construction accidents, and the New York State Labor Law.
Sherry-Ann's legal journey includes internships at private law firms, legal assistance organizations, and judicial clerkships. She was also a legal intern at New York Legal Assistance Group, which combats economic, racial, and social injustice by advocating for people experiencing poverty or in crisis.
Sherry-Ann began her legal career serving as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx District Attorney's Office, representing the County, and bringing cases against criminal defendants in the prosecution of both misdemeanors and felonies. She excels in courtroom advocacy, conducting interviews with victims, witnesses, and law enforcement officials.
Beyond her professional duties, Sherry-Ann is committed to community engagement. She has coordinated "Know Your Rights" pro bono projects, volunteered for Teen Court and Expungements clinics, and served as Vice Co-Chair of the Black Law Student Association's Community Outreach & Social Justice Project.
Sherry-Ann Joseph is a dedicated legal professional with a diverse background in criminal, family, and civil law. Fluent in Haitian Creole, she brings linguistic diversity to her practice.
